We celebrate Taiwan's vibrant democracy, which stands as a beacon of freedom and progress in the region. The enthusiastic participation in the recent elections by Taiwanese people of all political persuasions underscores the strong democratic will of the Taiwanese people, who remain undeterred in the face of external pressure.

 

We look forward to exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation between Taiwan and the United Kingdom. We believe that under your presidency, our relationship can be deepened, fostering mutual benefits in trade, technology, education, culture, and people to people exchanges.
